A really big trend we began to see this year in digital creativity is the ‘powered by profile’ experience. Interactive experiences that put the user at the center by incorporating facebook pics and profile data, all through facebook connect. the really famous one this past year was the arcade fire ‘wilderness downtown’ experience.
But this new horror movie themed one really takes the cake. As good as wilderness was, the experience was still choppy; you could tell it was pre-recorded and just dropping your data in just like anyone else’s. The idea was cooler than the execution. This one is much better… it feels totally seamless, normal, like a real movie.
